According to IEC (the International Electrotechnical Commission), ELV – Extra Low Voltage is defined as any system operating in a voltage not exceeding 35V AC (or 60V ripple free DC). Although the term is technically correct from “electrical” point of view, it by no means describes the broad range of systems and technologies which are known as ELV systems in buildings..

ELV stands for Extra Low Voltage systems. This includes all the systems in building which operate on low voltages like telephone (Analog & Digital), Data Transmission (Networking), CCTV (Analog & Digital), Fire Alarm, Public Address, Master Clock Systems, Building Management systems (BMS,  Access Control & Attendance, etc..

Here below, I will briefly list some ELV systems:

  • Meeting Room System
  • Projection System
  • Interactive Smart Board
  • Video Conferencing System
  • AV Control System
  • Interpretation System
  • Voting System
  • Digital Signage
  • Video Wall
  • IPTV & VOD
  • Hotel Guest Room Management System
  • Public Address
  • Intelligent Lighting & Dimming
  • Background Music

Security Systems

  • CCTV (Analog & Digital)
  • Access Control & Time Attendance
  • Biometric Security System
  • Intrusion Detection
  • Gate Control/Turnstile
  • Parking Management
  • Enterprise ID Card
  • BMS
  • Fire Alarm
  • Master Clock
